Chakana: New Range & Packaging

On table 60 at this year’s annual Wines of Argentina tasting, Mendoza winery Chakana will show off a selection of latest vintage wines. It will also be launching eye-catching brand new packaging, designed specifically for the UK market, which includes screw top closures for the entry level range.

Julian Orti, Commercial Manager will be at hand to present the wines. “We have worked really hard in conjunction with Fells to produce specifically designed and adapted ranges for both the on-trade and off-trade in the UK and are excited to be showing them at the September tasting” enthuses Orti.

Fells, one of the UK’s leading independent importers of fine wines, added top Argentine winery Chakana to its portfolio of quality family wineries this June. “Fells are delighted to have the opportunity to represent a modern, dynamic and enthusiastic winery such as Chakana, in the UK,” says CEO, Colin McKenzie. “We are confident that the consistent quality of the wines together with the smart new modern packaging backed up by sharp pricing will ensure rapid success in the market. The Wines, Chakana has a three tiered portfolio of wines:
Chakana – a range of young, fruit driven wines aged briefly in oak RRP £6.99
Chakana Reserva – elegant wines with a balanced expression of fruit and oak RRP £8.99
Chakana Estate Selection – wines produced with fruit selected from the best grapes of the vintage RRP £13.99
