La Riojana = Fairtrade + Organic

La Riojana, Argentina’s second largest exporter to the UK and currently the world’s largest producer of certified organic-Fairtrade wines, will be taking tables 1 & 2 at this year’s Wines of Argentina Annual Trade Tasting to promote its wide selection of wines, styles and ranges, produced in the Famatina Valley of  La Rioja.

La Riojana’s line up will include its flagship range, Raza Argentina, with its icon wine, Raza Argentina Malbec Limited Edition 2006 (RRP £14.99) as well as new vintage releases from its Raza Argentina Premium range, comprising a Malbec, a Shiraz and a Torrontés (RRP £7.99).

La Riojana will also be showing off the excellent quality of its Fairtrade and Organic ranges, by showcasing wines and the latest vintage releases from its Ecologica range (RRP £5.99) and its newly packaged Valdeviña range (RRP £6.25), as well as its Santa Florentina and Viñedos de la Posada ranges which are available to the on-trade.

In addition to this, La Riojana will be participating on all three satellite tables at the tasting, with its Raza Argentina Premium Torrontés, Raza Argentina Premium Malbec and Santa Florentina Malbec Reserve, as well as its sparkling wine Santa Florentina Brut Torrontés.

The La Riojana team present at the tasting will include Walter Carol (Export Director), Patricio Angonoa (UK Commercial Manager) and Bjorn Wittmark (Director for La Riojana Europe).
