RJ Viñedos - Passion Four Pink

On table 17 at the forthcoming Wines of Argentina tasting, Mendoza winery, RJ Viñedos will be launching its first vintage of Pasión 4 Malbec Rosé 2008 designed and blended specifically for the UK market. The winery will also be showing for the first time the Blend de Selección Cabernet Merlot 2004.

Winery owner, Maria Fernanda Jofré will be present to show these wines alongside a selection from the range. ‘I am really excited to be showing these new additions to our range which we have developed specifically for the UK market following a lengthy series of tastings and tests with UK buyers and specialists’, she comments.

The Wines:
Pasión 4: Fruit forward varietal range with 15% of the red wines aged in oak barrels for 6 months. Malbec, Merlot, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay Chenin Blanc. RSP £6.99.
Joffré e Hijas: The reds are 40% - 50% aged in oak (70% French/30% American) for 10 months. Malbec, Bonarda, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. RSP £9.99.
Joffré e Hijas Blend de Selección: 100% aged for 10 to 12 months in oak (70% French & 30% American). Malbec Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot blends. RSP £12.99
Joffré e Hijas Premium: 100% aged for 12-14 months in oak (70% French & 30% American). Malbec, Merlot. RSP £15.99.
Raul Joffré: 100% aged in mainly French new oak barrels for 18 months Malbec RSP £34.99 and Distinto (Malbec Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon) RSP £37.99
